Senior Managing Director & Head of Cybersecurity
Global Risk and Investigations Practice
Are you ready for the next cybersecurity hack?
Cybersecurity breaches cost business €265 billion a year. Recent large-scale ransomware attacks such as Petya or WannaCry exposed the operational, financial and reputational challenges that corporates face as a result.
From March 2018 companies operating in critical sectors (transport, financial, energy, health and digital) in Belgium will also have to comply with new cybersecurity legislation and will be exposed to significant fines.
We are pleased to invite you to an afterwork event with Anthony Ferrante, former Director for Cyber Incident Response with the U.S. National Security Council at the White House where he coordinated the U.S. responses to critical cyber-attacks targeting U.S corporations and governmental assets domestically and globally.
Before joining the National Security Council, Mr. Ferrante was Chief of Staff of the FBI’s Cyber Division, where he worked on preparedness and response to criminal cyber-attacks.
Anthony Ferrante is currently working as Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting.
Anthony Ferrante will be presented by Miguel De Bruycker.
Miguel De Bruycker became Managing Director of the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium on 17 August 2015.
Prior to his appointment, he headed the Computer Security Incident Response Capability Unit at the Belgian Ministry of Defence. In his role, he was responsible for the security of classified networks and the creation of the first cybersecurity unit. Since 2008 , he has been involved in the processing of all major cyber incidents in Belgium.
This evening is open to non-members.
A sandwich buffet and drinks will be served after the conference.
